We're aware that one of the major drawbacks of having to hold conferences online is that you don't get to meet new Techne students, catch up with familiar faces, chat over a cup of coffee and share ideas informally. We've included a few things as part of the Congress that we hope will help with this.

We have set up a Padlet board for you to add messages, thoughts and reflections in response to the Congress sessions. Please take a look, add your thoughts, and comment on others' posts.

In our Zoom sessions, please do use the chat box to share your thoughts and meet other Techne students. You can use the private message option in the chat to share contact details with any researchers you would like to talk to further. Keep your camera turned on if you're able to, so the virtual room doesn't feel so empty.

Research Speed Dating

Ever wondered what some of your fellow Techne students are researching, or wanted to meet more Techne students from across our cohorts and universities? Come along to our research 'speed dating' session - using Zoom breakout rooms, you'll have chance to briefly introduce yourself and your research to small groups of students, before moving onto another group.
