Register

You need to register in advance to attend the Congress - please register on Eventbrite. There are different ticket types for Techne-funded students, Techne alumni, and any other attendees.

For Techne students, if you would like to book on-campus accommodation and/or a space at the meal on the Wednesday evening you need to select these options on your Eventbrite booking. These are free for Techne students. Unfortunately any attendees who are not currently funded by Techne will not be able to register for the meal or for accommodation.

Should you want to edit any of the information on your Eventbrite registration you can do so by logging into your Eventbrite account, go to 'tickets', choose the Congress and select 'edit'.

Online Access

Day 1 will be held in person, but we will be livestreaming the keynote lecture. See here for more information. Day 2 will be held online on Zoom - please see the Day 2 programme for information about how to register for the Zoom meetings.

Parking

If you require parking on campus, please email techne@rhul.ac.uk ahead of the Congress to arrange a permit with the make, model, colour and registration plate of your car. You can find information about getting to Royal Holloway on the venue page.

Travel Expenses

Techne funded students can claim back their travel expenses for travel to Techne events (unless the event is held at your home institution). Students may only claim travel within the UK and from their home address as recorded at their institution or from another starting point where the travel costs are lower than those from the home address. Please process your expense claim following your institution's expense claim process, quoting 'Techne Congress travel'. See here for more information. You can find information about getting to Royal Holloway on the venue page.

All rooms in the Windsor Building are wheelchair accessible and the building has a lift. Accessible accommodation can also be provided if needed. Please indicate any specific access requirements you may have on your Eventbrite booking so we can ensure that we can put in place anything that you may need.
